One tip if the ultrasound fails: don't buy anything blue or pink

A few days ago Lola explained the case of a couple who spent the whole pregnancy thinking that her baby was a girl and at birth it turned out to be a boy. The face that was left to the mother was a poem, so much that it went viral and will forever be a funny anecdote that they can explain to their family and friends.

But he is not the only one, because this happens more times than we think. Last year another couple was waiting for Harry and it turned out to be Lola, and the surprise not only made them have to change only the name, but they found a lot of blue baby things, which they were not going to use. That is why today's advice is: don't buy anything blue or pink.

The name is not important

Because one thinks that what a surprise, that you have been pregnant all the time thinking that it is of one sex and suddenly, at birth, it turns out that it is of another. And it is said "I would hallucinate if it happened to me", but think that the most you get is the bitter feeling that you have changed the child, or deceived, because you had made up your mind that it was going to be something else, but that you are going to love him the same, obviously, and that's good, it just means changing the name.

But no! No, because Harry's parents, who ended up being Lola, they had spent hundreds of pounds on clothes and accessories and his relatives had prepared gifts according to the sex of the baby.

And the room?

Count on the baby's clothes, the bedding, the color of the stroller, the color of the wall of the room ... it can be an incredible expense that later does not work! So although it seems absurd because it is not something that happens very often (95% of the interpretations made in week 20 are correct), the advice is that don't buy anything pink or blue. Yes, that it is our fault for associating colors with sex, but we are so used and educated based on that guideline that if you take a girl with blue things they will look weird, and if you take a boy with Pink things, too. And that's not all, is that you will have to walk giving explanations, and that is quite tiring.

So the ideal is to buy things of neutral, or mixed colors, like oranges, greens or yellows, that there are beautiful things in pastel tones, and so you will have a double benefit: if one day you have another baby you can use it again. Oh, and you won't have to repaint the baby's room in another color!
