"For a story with a happy ending", it helps save three children with Sanfilippo

A story that we follow closely is that of a Basque family whose three children have Sanfilippo Syndrome, a rare and devastating disease that ends the death of the person normally upon reaching adolescence, and for which there is no specific treatment.

Naiara García de Andoin and her husband, José Ángel García, do not lower their arms to try save the life of his three children. They just presented the book 'Araitz, Ixone and Unai in the park of the ducks' for the STOP Sanfilippo Association, within the campaign "For a story with a happy ending" which is intended to raise funds to develop a treatment.

They seek to raise three million euros for the application in people of a drug research that has already tested positive in mice. They have already collected a million through numerous initiatives that they have launched such as popular careers, solidarity dinners, markets, etc. But there is still much to achieve.

'Araitz, Ixone and Unai in the park of the ducks' It is a story written by María Luisa Amigo and illustrated by Nuria Espinosa whose protagonists are the three children of Naiara and José Ángel and tells the adventures they live during a walk through the famous Bilbao park.

The edition has been made in Spanish, Basque and English and can be acquired by 5 euros through various means that you will find in the link of the Stop San Filippo Foundation (below).

We can help, with a small contribution, to make something very special possible for this family. We hope that this diffusion will contribute to increase the fundraising to get a treatment for the three brothers.
