Her daughter was born with an inoperable brain tumor and they made this emotional photo shoot to remember her forever

I think there is nothing harder in life than the death of a child, but unfortunately many parents go through that tragedy, a tragedy that should not be lived in silence or hidden.

At 30 weeks pregnant, Erika and Stephen Jones, also parents of a 2-year-old girl, received the terrible news that their second daughter would be born with an inoperable brain tumor. Abigail arrived in the world on August 6 and her parents decided to make a Emotional photo shoot to remember forever, however short the time they share with her.

The author of these beautiful images is the photographer Mary Huszcza of 8.08 Photography, also a mother and occupational therapist for children, who has been able to capture the bittersweet moment that the family lives, by welcoming and at the same time firing the new member.

Doctors told him that chemotherapy would probably kill Abigail and that operating it would not prevent the tumor from growing again. They know that their daughter will not live long, and despite the immense pain they are going through, they decided give her all the love they have for her.

“The neurosurgeon recommended that we take Abigail home and give him our love,” writes Erika. “So we did that, and pediatric hospice will help us in what is to come. We have filled this little girl with love and kisses and we will continue to do so in every moment we have. ”
