The difficulty locating time

Most of the children have difficulties to be able to place themselves in time, it is from the age of three when they begin to handle the temporal concepts. Before, after, tomorrow are concepts that still interpret it without accuracy.

From the age of four, the adverbs of time begin to apply well, thanks to the greater capacity and the greater development of memory. There are a number of games that are designed for children to reinforce their little difficulty locating time.

These are some exercises that help children to locate their experiences in a temporal sequence. There are a number of sheets and notebooks very useful for this task. We take for example this drawing. Ask your child to observe him carefully and tell him that it rains a lot, then show him the other two and ask him, how do you think the forest looks after it has rained? Of course, we hope you choose the drawing on the right, and if so, this will indicate that you begin to locate the time sequences.
