Pharmacological or surgical abortion does not imply a risk for future pregnancies, according to study

Many women who have voluntarily aborted are concerned about the consequences that could have on future pregnancies.

A study conducted in Denmark on the short-term safety of pharmacological abortion (pills) or surgery, establishes that there are no significant risks for those who later decide to become pregnant.

It does not imply that the methods can lead to its complications, which also happens, but the research carried out with 12,000 women reveals that in general terms A new pregnancy does not pose a greater risk for a woman who has undergone these methods than for a woman.

They found that there is no difference in the rates of ectopic pregnancies, spontaneous abortions, premature or low birth weight babies among women who had previously undergone a surgical abortion or had taken abortion pills to eliminate the fetus, always assuming they are legal methods because illegals have no insurance.

Although it is a practice with which I do not take communion, but I do not judge either (I always defend the adoption alternative), there are many women who want to be mothers after having had a voluntary abortion and will be interested to know the results of this significant study.
