Diets for pregnant women

When a woman finds out that she is pregnant, one of the concerns is knowing how much and what to eat. The recommendations cannot be general, it depends on each woman and the period of pregnancy in which she is. This is how the dietitian and nutritionist Marta Anguera responded this morning in the “The Look of Life” section of a morning program, where she told us about a book she has published with the title “Diets for pregnant women”.

It offers tips, menus and recipes to feed properly before, during and after pregnancy. In addition, it makes recommendations on feeding in case of constipation, stomach discomfort, anemia, etc.

It also has a section with recipes in which it includes the most important foods that should be consumed during pregnancy.

The book has been extended by María José Roselló and indicates that “the feeding of any human being should not be directed by the whim, the punctual desires or the preference of some foods and the rejection of others, but to follow a wise order that ensures all the nutrients that each organism needs at every moment of its life ”.
