In China many children do not use diapers

I had been looking for photos for the entry of Operation diaper v.2 days ago when I came across several curious photos of Chinese children in the most rare pants (if not something politically incorrect).

Investigating I came up with the following information: Many children do not use diapers in China.

It is not that it is a parents' hobby or an attempt to make children control their sphincters and avoid lowering their pants, but it is basically an economic issue.

Disposable diapers do exist in that country, but the financial resources of many families are limited and buying them could be dangerous borrowing.

If we add to this that urinating (or defecating in the street) is not as frowned upon as in our country it seems quite normal for children to do their little things in public areas

On the other hand I understand that perform a training for sphincter control that starts when the baby is a few months old and wearing open pants is a way to make the process easier.

I don't know what you think of these pants. Personally they seem to me a real nonsense, because poor children, they take them open in summer or winter, rain or shine.

And besides, I would say that there are other economic methods for tiny exteriorizations do not go to the pavement and to prevent children from freezing "perineum and company". Maybe cloth diapers, whether purchased or improvised, maybe pieces of cloth and washing them ... maybe you can come up with some other invention (I'm sure there should be).

Anyway, as I said on some other occasion, we should not always be left with the straw of others. In Spain, children also urinate in the street, more specifically in the trees (up to what age is it socially acceptable?) And I think that we have all fled at some point in the face of a Mr. Cairn Floating in the sea.

Anyway. I leave a couple more photos to illustrate this custom of the land of dragons:
