Easier deliveries thanks to centrifugal force

About 50 years ago George B. Blonsky and Charolette E. Blonsky decided to devise a system to make births easier: spin the mother to take advantage of the centrifugal force.

As Wikipedia explains, centrifugal force "is what tends to move objects away from the center of rotation of the axis by means of tangential velocity, perpendicular to the radius, in a circular motion." I think that through different experiments of everyday life we all know what centrifugal force is, so I think it is not necessary to go into more detail.

The invention in question, whose design is in the United States patent office, should not have been very successful when after 50 years nobody has seen such a rotary delivery table so I bring it to Babies and more simply and simply as a curiosity.

If we stop to think about the operation of the machine, it must be said that the invention would surely help babies to get out of the womb, however the possible side effects could be too many.

So by boat soon I can think of:

  • The danger of traumatism of the baby: It is true that there is a net between the legs of the mother, but who tells you that the baby is going to stop right there.
  • The dizziness of the mother at the time of giving birth can also be considerable: I doubt that a woman wants to get on a roundabout in full expulsion.
  • If the baby leaves too fast, more tears may occur: I do not know the strength or speed that the pot can catch, but if it is excessive and the baby leaves too quickly, more tears may occur than in a normal delivery.
  • Dirty delivery room constantly: I'm sorry, but I have to say it. If the baby leaves faster away from the mother thanks to the centrifugal force, the amniotic fluid will also move away from the mother more than normal (and know where it will end) ...

Surely there are more details that I miss, but I think that with the comments (and without commenting, that just seeing the image is enough) few women would want to give birth in this gossip.
