40 percent of mothers would have wanted more children

Antena 3 has released the results of a survey, which we will also launch shortly among our readers to check the results, according to which 40 percent of Spanish mothers consulted would have wanted more children.

The reasons why they have seen their desire to have more children truncated vary depending on the age of the women. Those under 35 do not have more children because of economic problems that play against them when deciding to expand the family, while among those over 35, the first reason that prevents them from becoming mothers again is precisely age.

Those who have been left with the desire to have another child are those who have had only one, and as usual, as the number of children increases, the desire to repeat decreases.

It is a very frequent situation that occurs today. At least that's what I see among the mothers around me. I know several women who have had a child, some two, I would say half of them wanting to have more, but for one thing or the other there have been the desire to park. Then, once past 35, when they are already in a better situation to enlarge the family, the years pass by, the train has passed or they are lazy to return to the diapers.

The survey reflects the example quite well. Half of those under 35 years long to be mothers again, but the reasons that prevent them are in the first place economic problems, then work and thirdly age / health.

On the other hand, the reasons differ in the case of mothers over 35 years. The first reason that stops them from having another child is age / health, then work, partner and lack of time.

In conclusion, I think that both before and after the age of 35, at current age, today's society always imposes some condition that prevents women from fully living their motherhood.

As I said before, stay tuned that we will launch a survey on the blog to know first-hand data on the number of children had and desired.
