Many years ago, the Scalextric was the star gift of my First Communion. I still remember that afternoon at home with the whole family and friends riding the circuit, a beautiful eight that crossed by raising the track with a cardboard support. We do a lot of races going round and round, moving forward, braking, turning in curves and accelerating in straight lines. Over time we bought several cars and expanded the track with some accessories. They were afternoons full of strong emotions with very good careers and with great enthusiasm. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Scalextric in Spain, Toy Factory is working on a campaign it has called 2012. Year of the Dragon, and that foresees the launch of several novelties and new reproductions of Formula 1 models, rallies, GT and classic models. I have no information that this could be from below but surely there will be many surprises among fans of now, yesterday and forever.
