Santa Claus arrives at your table to sweeten Christmas food

Do you remember when we brought you these cookies 'disguised' as snowmen ?, because today we wanted to be surprised by some small Santa Claus of strawberries with cream.

They are the work of our companion Pakus of Direct to the Palate, and although today is the eve of Christmas Night, I am sure that if you want to prepare them you will have it very easy because ingredients are used that you can find tomorrow in the supermarket. It is one of these ideas so simple that one comes to think 'how could it not have occurred to me?', But in any case they are going to serve as inspiration for a quick, fun and very sweet dessert.

As Pakus tells us, 'the greatest difficulty lies in getting quality strawberries at this time of year'

The list of ingredients is very short: a dozen strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate balls (for the eyes). These are next to products for birthdays and parties (candles, vanilla sugar, food aromas, anisets, etc.).

And to get these little 'Santa' that sneak into the Christmas table, you just have to wash the strawberries, cut them twice (to remove the leaves and form the base, and to form the body separated from the hat).

It is convenient to use whipping cream and sweeten it, so that it supports the weight of the hat well. We can complete the details with a pastry bag. The cream gets the effect of beard + hair, and tassel of the hat with the balls, our characters will have their eyes.

What do you think? Do you dare?
