A pediatrician who participated in the program "solved" the case when offered a treatment without vaccines, based on homeopathy, With which "the children are phenomenal" and without using "none of the medications that are being used". What is the problem?
Than they have not given any solution to the child, not even to the mother, because if you really need these vaccines, you will have a very bad time this winter. Homeopathy hasn't shown yet (and exists more than 200 years ago) being able to achieve an effect superior to the placebo effect, so the doctor has promoted herself on television and, in rebound, has publicized some medications that are not such, from laboratories that are billing hundreds of millions of euros every year, more than many pharmacists who make real medicines, but selling water and sugar, which is what we can find in homeopathic medicines.
Some time ago, in an entry explaining why homeopathy does not work even when there are people who say it works, I commented on the various reviews of studies conducted by the Cochrane Collaboration and among them we could see that the effectiveness of homeopathy in asthma cases is in question, because there are no well-conducted studies that have shown that it works: "There is not enough evidence to reliably assess the possible role of homeopathy in asthma."
This could imply that, in the absence of studies, it could be that it does work. However, it is hard to believe, because in this systematic review of studies in which 91 studies with homeopathy in children aged 0 to 19 years were analyzed, the following is concluded:
The evidence of rigorous clinical studies related to the treatment or prevention of diseases in childhood and adolescence with homeopathy is not convincing enough to recommend it in any case.

The mother preferred to treat him with homeopathy instead of taking the child to the doctor and according to the autopsy the infection was caused by group A streptococci, which It is treated with commonly used antibiotics.
As an aggravating factor, there is the fact that the mother never took the child to the doctor, even for check-ups. This does not mean that the mother omitted the care of the child. According to the grandfather, She is a mother who has given her life for her son, like any other, or like most, but who preferred to use alternative remedies.
In Canada (and I would say that in most countries of the world) parents have an obligation to provide food, shelter, care and medical care their children, and in this case, considering that the mother did not comply with the latter, they consider her guilty of her death.
Homeopathy is not dangerous, until it is
In relatively healthy children, in children with common typical conditions, such as colds and things like that, which usually heal on their own, using or not homeopathy is indifferent. The child will not be better off taking it, the parents will spend the money unnecessarily, but at least they will feel they are doing something for him. Now, at the moment when homeopathy is used as a treatment to treat something more serious, or more serious, and its use displaces the use of other medications such as antibiotics, the thing can end up being serious, very serious, to the point of being able to say that, although it has no side effects, homeopathy kills.
Homeopathic pediatricians
By the way, to finish, I will never understand that a doctor, that a pediatrician, ends up using homeopathy. The treatments are totally contrary. The medicine uses opposites, something like antidotes: your head hurts, I give you something that eliminates the headache, you have a fever, I give you something that lowers you, you cannot sleep, I give you something that relaxes or soothes the body and if you have an allergic reaction, that is, histamine is increasing in your body, I give you an antihistamine. Homeopathy, on the other hand, uses similar ones, what they know as Similia Similibus Curantur, which comes to say that if your head hurts I give you something that causes a headache, if you have a fever, I give you something that warms your body, if you can't sleep, I give you something that keeps you more awake (coffea, that is coffee) and if you have an allergic reaction, I give you histamine (histaminum), so you still have more. All this diluted to the maximum expression so that you don't take any of it in reality, your body reacts and you heal.
The concept of not being able to sleep and drink a drop of coffee to sleep is at least absurd, and have an allergic reaction, with histamine causing edema on the eyelids and who knows if edema in the glottis (it is an emergency), and giving more histamine is a joke, moreover, I would say a complaint. That is why it makes no sense for a doctor or pediatrician to be homeopaths, because on the one hand they are giving you real medication and, at the same time, balls of the opposite medication.
It is so absurd that that's why one day I decided, despite having homeopathic titles, not to exercise.
